Tell us more about Time For Tea Designs?

My name is Jo Davies and I am the owner, founder, designer and pretty much everything else, for Time For Tea Designs. I started my business in 2017 with two stamp and coordinating die sets. I now have a full range of craft products from stamps, dies, stencils, patterned papers and tools. All my products are hand drawn and designed by me and all your orders are packed in my small warehouse by me too! I also include a Yorkshire Tea Bag in every order because my business has been built on thousands of cups of tea!

How did you get into crafting?

I have always enjoyed crafts of some kind and I loved to draw as a child. I got into papercraft by chance when I was off work with pneumonia in 2008. While recovering in bed, I came across a TV channel showing papercrafting and I was hooked. As soon as I was well enough, I bought all the kits and tools and realised I had found my passion! It took me a few years of gaining experience and building confidence before I decided to create the products myself. Ten years after seeing that first craft show I left my employed job to run my business full time and I love every minute.

When was your first show on HobbyMaker and what did you launch?

My first show was the 12th May 2022 & I brought the T4TD signature Beautiful Blender Brushes and a selection of my hand drawn stamps, dies and stencils.

What's your favourite craft project?

I love ink blending, colouring and anything interactive or constructed, so my favourite projects include all those things.

This box card has all the things I love. The cute images to colour and die cut. Some ink blending with stencils and the construction of a 3D box card. I had so much fun making this card and I love how it turned out. You can get the Beautiful Blender Brushes used here on HobbyMaker.

What's your go-to Karaoke Anthem?

Nobody wants to hear me sing so I don’t have one 😊

If you could be any animal, what would it be? And why?

It would definitely be either one of my own cats or my mum and dad’s cat! 😊 They sleep all day, get fed whatever they want when they want it and are adored 24/7. Cats are most definitely my spirit animal!

I have two cats, brother and sister Maine Coon/Russian Blue cross, called Arnie and Maisie. They are totally loved & spoiled and that’s exactly how it should be!
