STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE - HOW TO MAKE A PAPER WREATH

This paper Christmas wreath is a great DIY decoration idea for your home. Trim your Christmas tree, walls or windows with a pretty folded paper wreath.

Craft Products used

• Square patterned papers x 8
• Bone folder
• Hole Punch
• Ribbon or Twine

Step One

Select your patterned papers. These will need to be square and size dependant on how big you would like the wreath to be (we have used 5x5” and 6x6”).

Step Two

Fold your square in half, open out and fold the outer edge into the centre fold. Repeat this process on the other side.

Step Three

Hold the folded paper strip making sure the open edge is facing upwards, then take the corner, fold downwards and burnish. Do the same on the other end so you have two folded down corners.

Step Four

Fold the strip in half so the folded corners are inside. Fold all 8 of your papers this way.

Step Five

Take one of your folded papers at the pointed end. You will see at the flat end you have two pockets, tuck the pointed end of your second piece of paper into the pockets and then repeat that process until you have joined all 8 pieces together.

Step Six

Punch a hole in the top of your wreath and thread through some ribbon or twine. Tie a knot and hang up as a decoration.
