HUNKYDORY BLOCKBUSTER CARD IDEAS

Festive Friends Card | Blockbuster Inspiration

Craft Products Used

  • Hunkydory Blockbuster Festive Friends Decoupage Sheet
  • Hunkydory Blockbuster Cardstock
  • Coordinating Coloured Cardstock
  • HobbyMaker Essential Card Blank 6x6”
  • Foam pads
  • Gems

Step One

Pop out the large topper and decoupage elements from your chosen sheet and pop to one side.

Step Two

Fold your card in half, next take some coordinating cardstock and trim down to 5.5 x 5.5”. Trim down the matching cardstock for your topper sheet to 5.25 x 5.25”. This will be used for the matt and layers on your card.

Step Three

The excess card from the matching card stock has a border which can be fussy cut and added to the card as a bottom border (this adds interest and dimension to your card). Fussy cut the border and use some foam pads to raise it from the card.

Step Four

Lay your topper and decoupage layers out in front of you this will allow you to decide your layers in order. Apply some foam pads to the back of each decoupage layer and then build up your decoupage image piece by piece.

Step Five

Once you have completed your decoupage topper stick on the centre of your card to create a focal point. Then add the sentiment of your choice from the topper sheet.

Step Six

Decorate your design with gems or embellishments of your choice.

Winter Wishes Card | Blockbuster Inspiration

  • Hunkydory Blockbuster Cardstock
  • Ribbon
  • Foam pads
  • Gems
  • Scoreboard

Step One

Pop out the topper, frame and elements of your choice from the sheet and pop to one side.

Step Two

Take your sheet of matching cardstock and turn so it is landscape on your scoreboard. Score 3 equal lines down your card to create a tri fold card.

Step Three

Stick your frame down flat onto the back panel of your tri fold. Then using some foam pads stick your topper onto the frame to raise it up and give dimension.

Step Four

Take a piece of ribbon and run it around the card, tie into a bow just above your topper.

Step Five

Using a border strip and sentiment from the topper sheet, create a banner across the front of your card. Stick the border flat across your card and then add a foam pad to the back of your sentiment so it stands out from the border.

Step Six

Add pearls or embellishments of your choice for decoration.
