STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE - Cardmaking with the Gemini Junior Die Cutting Machine

Craft Products used

  • Limited Edition Gemini Junior Machine
  • Card Blank 8x8
  • White and Pink card stock
  • Crafter's companions stamp and die set
  • Patterned Papers
  • Gems
  • Brush Tool
  • Double sided tape
  • Glue

Step One

Trim down your pink card to a fraction larger than 14.5cm, using the large frame die run this through the Gemini machine. Use your brush to remove any bits from your die (save a few of the hearts for decoration later).

Step Two

Die cut the words Mum and Love (or to suit for your chosen occasion). Pop all your die cuts to one side.

Step Three

Cut a piece of patterned paper to 7.25” x 7.25” and a piece of white cardstock to 14.5cm x 14.5cm.

Step Four

Stick down your patterned paper onto your card blank. Next stick down your white card and then use some foam pads on the back of the frame for dimension and mount onto the white card.

Step Five

Using the hearts from the die add foam pads and decorate around your frame.

Step Six

Glue the word Mum into the centre of your card.

Step Seven

Stick your word Love in the top corner of your frame then stamp the word ‘you’ just underneath it.

Step Eight

Decorate with gems or embellishments of your choice.
